تم تنفيذ أربعة حلول مبتكرة للمياه والزراعة، مما يتيح للشباب دورًا فاعلًا في إدارة الموارد المائية والتكيف مع تغير المناخبدعم قدره 45,000 دولار أمريكي، تم تطو هذه الحلول من خلال هاكاثون وجلسات متابعة، تعزيزًا لدور الابتكار الشبابي في مواجهة تحديات المياهبفضل أكبر محفظة مناخية في منظومة الأمم المتحدة، نلتزم في برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي بدعم الحلول المستدامة، وضمان استدامة الموارد المائية للأجيال القادمة.
In Ma’an Governorate, students at Al-Hussein bin Talal University are driving climate action. Under UNDP Jordan’s Climate Resilience & Adaptation project, in collaboration with the Horizons Green Development and the Future Pioneers orgainzation. Four innovative water and agriculture solutions have been implemented on campus—empowering youth to tackle water scarcity and adapt to climate change.With USD 45,000 in support, these solutions emerged from a hackathon and monitoring sessions, demonstrating the power of youth-driven innovation. This initiative is part of UNDP’s Climate Promise, supporting Jordan’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to strengthen climate resilience. With the largest climate portfolio in the UN system, we are committed to advancing Jordan’s climate solutions across adaptation, mitigation, and policy.
